1 Min Read

Starboy Wizkid has cleared the air over speculations on why he didn’t include one of his close friends in the industry (music), Wande Coal in his sophomore album titled Ayo (Joy).

He revealed that he ‘might’ do a joint album with Wande Coal.

Ayo was released on iTunes on September 17, 2014. It featured top Nigerian acts including Banky W, Phyno, Yemi Sax as well as foreign rap artists, Tyga and Wale.

Wizkid disclosed to radio presenter Tolu Oniru ‘Toolz’ on The Beat 99.9 FM  on her ‘Midday Show’ what he’s planning with Wande.

When asked why Wande Coal was missing from his recent album, Wizkid replied:
‘Wande Coal is actually my very good friend, like we are very close and already we have a lot of songs together so we might just do our joint album, our fans should watch out for it.’
