Nigerian winger Chidera Ejuke has resumed full training at Spanish club Sevilla following a three-month injury setback.
Ejuke sustained the injury during Sevilla’s 5-1 loss to Barcelona at Camp Nou last October. The 27-year-old was warmly welcomed back by his teammates, who formed a guard of honour for him, as seen in photos shared on the club’s social media.
Before his injury, Ejuke was in exceptional form and was named Sevilla’s Player of the Month for October. His performances had been instrumental in the team’s campaign, earning him praise from fans and teammates alike.
The former Royal Antwerp player is now in contention to feature in Sevilla’s LaLiga match against Girona on Saturday.
Ejuke’s return is a significant boost for Sevilla as they look to strengthen their position in the league standings and improve their overall performance in the second half of the season.
