American pop star Chloe Elizabeth Bailey has finally addressed the swirling rumors about her relationship with Nigerian superstar artist Burna Boy. The Atlanta-born entertainer opened up about the speculated romance during her appearance on the latest episode of The Breakfast Club podcast show.
When asked about her recent NAACP Image Awards nomination and whether she would attend the event with the Grammy award-winning artist, Chloe initially dodged the question, eventually replying, “You’ll have to ask him.”
The hosts also inquired about her time spent with Burna Boy in Lagos during the Detty December festivities. Instead of delving into personal details, the ‘Boy Bye’ singer chose to highlight her positive experiences in Nigeria. She described the country as “beautiful” and shared how much she enjoyed the local cuisine, including pepper soup and spicy chicken.
Regarding the vibrant nightlife in Lagos, she remarked, “Yes, the nightlife. There were so many lights and cameras.”
When pressed about her relationship with Burna Boy, Chloe stated, “Well, I am a grown woman. I had a great time in Nigeria.” She maintained this stance when questioned about Burna Boy being seen with another woman after her departure from Nigeria, adding, “He is a grown man, just like I am a grown woman.”
By addressing the rumors head-on, Chloe Bailey has made it clear that both she and Burna Boy are independent individuals, capable of making their own choices.
