Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have officially settled their divorce after an eight-year legal standoff.
According to the Daily Mail, the former couple finalized their paperwork on Monday, December 30, 2024, marking the end of a tumultuous chapter in their lives.
Despite the resolution, a contentious dispute over their jointly owned French chateau remains unresolved.
“Frankly, Angelina is exhausted,” stated Divorce Lawyer James Simon. “More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family.”
The actress initially filed for divorce in September 2016, just two years after marrying Pitt. The pair had been together for over a decade before tying the knot.
