The Katsina State Police Command has implemented a comprehensive security strategy to ensure the safety of residents and visitors during the Christmas celebrations.
According to a statement issued late Tuesday by the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Abubakar Sadiq, additional personnel have been deployed across the state to enhance security. Key areas of focus include places of worship, event centers, and other public spaces.
Sadiq emphasized the importance of maintaining peace, warning individuals with malicious intent, including social miscreants known locally as “Kauraye,” against disrupting the festivities.
He stated, “The command, in collaboration with other security agencies, is fully prepared to deal decisively with any troublemakers and ensure the safety of lives and property in the state. Mischief makers are strongly advised to desist from causing trouble during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.”
