Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has shared a heartfelt and emotional video on her Instagram page, revealing her recent battle with a life-threatening illness. The actress, who has been a household name in Nigeria for decades, opened up about her harrowing experience, leaving her fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry in shock.
In the video, Omotola recounted how she had been rushed to the emergency room multiple times before undergoing surgery to remove her gallbladder. She described the severe stomach pain she endured and the series of medical tests she underwent before the surgery.
“Have you been told by the doctor that there’s nothing more we can do at this time? And you still feel like you are dying,” Omotola said in the video, reflecting on her experience.
The actress explained that she threw up all night and was rushed to the hospital the next morning, where she underwent a CT scan, ultrasound, and MRI. The doctor then informed her that she needed to undergo surgery immediately to remove her gallbladder.
“The fight for my life began,” Omotola said, describing the moment she received the news.
