Sean “Diddy” Combs, the entertainment mogul, was denied bail for the third time on Wednesday. He is facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation for prostitution.
Prosecutors allege that Combs led a “criminal enterprise” involving forced labor, kidnapping, and intimidation. They also presented evidence that he misused jail communication systems to influence witnesses and sway public opinion.
Judge Arun Subramanian ruled that Combs posed a threat to public safety and could tamper with the judicial process if released. This denial comes despite a $50 million bail offer from Combs’ defense team.
Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges and maintains his innocence. His trial is scheduled for May 2025.
