Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has sparked controversy by declaring she’s more talented than Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, collectively known as the “Big 3” of Nigerian music.
In an interview with The Beat 99.9 FM Lagos, Savage confidently stated, “If we are to go talent for talent, mic for mic, I am the big 1.”
She acknowledged that the ranking isn’t solely based on musical talent but emphasized her skills, saying, “You can’t see me on the mic.”
Savage’s comments have ignited debate among music fans, with some supporting her assertion and others defending the “Big 3.”
This isn’t the first time Savage has expressed her opinions on the “Big 3” conversation, which also considers adding a fourth name, such as Rema or Asake, to the elite list.
