Nigerian comedian Seyi Law has praised President Bola Tinubu’s decision to remove fuel subsidies. Despite widespread hardship, Law believes the move is beneficial in the long run.
Law emphasized that fuel subsidies should have been eliminated earlier, citing 2012 as an ideal time. He noted that Nigeria was borrowing to pay salaries then.
“If it had gone in 2012, we would have gone through the pain process and by now we would have been healing,” Law said.
