Liam Payne, a former member of the renowned British boy band One Direction, has tragically passed away after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
According to local authorities, Payne, 31, was found dead in the hotel’s interior patio after emergency responders arrived at the CasaSur hotel in the Palermo district.
The Buenos Aires police reported receiving calls about an aggressive individual potentially under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
Payne rose to international fame alongside bandmates Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson, forming one of the best-selling musical acts of the 2010s before going on indefinite hiatus in 2016.
