Joann Kelly, R. Kelly’s 26-year-old daughter, has come forward with allegations of childhood sexual abuse by her father.
In the documentary series “Karma: A Daughter’s Journey,” Joann shared her experience, stating she first reported the abuse to her mother, Drea, in 2009.
Though she didn’t detail the alleged abuse, Joann expressed struggles with the trauma and its impact on her life.
R. Kelly’s lawyer, Jennifer Bonjean, has denied the allegations.
This revelation follows R. Kelly’s 20-year prison sentence for child pornography and enticement charges, to be served concurrently with a prior 30-year sentence.
