American rapper and YouTuber DDG has spoken out about his recent breakup with actress Halle Bailey, emphasizing that they remain family despite their separation.
In an interview with ‘No Ordinary Podcast’ on Monday, DDG clarified that the breakup was a mutual decision and that there was no wrongdoing on either side. He expressed frustration with fans creating stories and timelines, stressing that their personal lives are private.
DDG stated, “Halle is still family, and I love her till death, no matter what… Me and Halle are still family; we’re just taking a little break. We don’t know what can happen in the future.”
He urged fans to respect their privacy, saying, “When public figures give you a statement, take it and mind your business.”
DDG and Halle Bailey announced their breakup on October 3, 2024, less than a year after welcoming their son.
