Nigerian rapper Falz has issued a 24-hour ultimatum to social media personality Verydarkman, demanding the retraction of defamatory statements linking him to Bobrisky’s money laundering case. Verydarkman alleged that Falz and his father, renowned lawyer Femi Falana (SAN), assisted Bobrisky in evading charges and avoiding prison time.

Falz’s legal team has outlined their demands clearly. “We require an immediate retraction of the defamatory publication,” stated the legal team. They also insisted on “a prominent apology on all social media platforms.”

The legal team warned that failure to comply with these demands would result in legal action, including a claim for monetary damages. “If these demands are not met within 24 hours, we will proceed with legal action,” they emphasized.

The controversy centers around allegations that Bobrisky bribed EFCC officials with ₦15 million to drop money laundering charges. Verydarkman’s claims have sparked significant public interest and debate.
