Burna Boy and Ayra Starr, both Nigerian artists, were nominated but did not win in their respective categories. Burna Boy was nominated for Best Afrobeats for “City Boys,” while Ayra Starr was nominated for Best Afrobeats for “Last Heartbreak Song” featuring Giveon.
