Nollywood actress Jumoke George has issued a stern warning to women considering Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery, cautioning them against risking their lives for the sake of physical appearance. Her warning comes on the heels of a tragic incident in which a 36-year-old woman died during a butt enlargement surgery, leading to the arrest of a medical doctor, Idara Bassey, by the Lagos State Police Command.
Taking to her Instagram page, Jumoke expressed her concerns and frustration, questioning why women feel the need to alter their bodies to conform to societal standards. “Women, what is the color of our problem?” she asked. “Are you telling God that He does not know what He was doing? God is perfect. What then are we looking for?”
Jumoke’s post emphasizes the importance of self-acceptance and self-love, urging women to embrace their natural beauty rather than seeking to change it through dangerous and unnecessary surgery. She highlights the risks associated with BBL surgery, including death, and encourages women to think twice before undergoing such procedures.
