Popular Nigerian rapper, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, better known as Skales, has finally addressed his relationship with fellow artist Wizkid. This revelation came on Wednesday in response to a comment on his X (formerly Twitter) post.
Skales shared his thoughts on his official X account, stating, “You know how many people I have given a platform and when they made it, they switched on me but I am still here and being blessed by God. I’m unstoppable. I am from Kaduna with Edo in my blood. I am Martina’s son.”
An X user, @aurora94212924, responded to Skales’ post, accusing him of switching on Wizkid and befriending his enemies to spite him. The user wrote, “You switched on Wiz too, became friends with his enemies so as to spite him. Forever an underdog Werey.”
In his reply, Skales clarified that despite their collaboration at Empire Mates Entertainment (EME), Wizkid never liked him. “I never ever switched on him. He doesn’t like me. We were never close friends either but EME members. So rest,” Skales stated.
