Former Miss South Africa contestant, Chidimma Adetshina, has revealed that she is not eager to return to South Africa anytime soon. The model, who faced significant criticism during her participation in the Miss South Africa pageant, has found solace and joy in Nigeria.
Chidimma withdrew from the Miss South Africa competition following allegations of fraud and identity theft involving her mother, brought forward by the South African Home Office. Despite the controversy, she received an invitation to join the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, which she accepted.
Since arriving in Nigeria over a week ago, Chidimma has expressed her happiness about being in her father’s homeland. In an interview with Cool FM Nigeria, she shared, “I think it’s safe to say I’m not going back. It’s been amazing. I’m not even looking forward to going back to South Africa. I just want to explore more. I want to stay longer and see what happens next.”
