Nollywood actor and producer, Femi Adebayo, has clarified the circumstances surrounding an incident where he slapped his father, Adebayo Salami, on the set of Funke Akindele’s 2008 film, “Taiwo Taiwo”.
In a recent interview, Femi Adebayo described the slap as accidental, stating it wasn’t part of the script. He explained that he was portraying an aggressive thief and got carried away with the character, leading to the unintended physical contact with his father.
Adebayo apologized to his father after the scene, and his father reportedly joked that he would have been in trouble if he hadn’t followed through with the action.
