Nigerian Afrobeat star Davido appears to have resolved his legal dispute with Amaju Pinnick, the former president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), just hours before his wedding.
The legal conflict began on October 31, 2023, when Pinnick filed a N2.3 billion breach of contract lawsuit against Davido for failing to perform at the 19th edition of the ‘Warri Again’ event on October 6, 2023.
In a surprising turn of events, Davido and his fiancée, Chioma, were seen in a video at Pinnick’s residence shortly before their wedding. The video, shared by Pinnick’s wife, Julie Pinnick, on TikTok, highlighted the power of love and reconciliation.
Julie Pinnick wrote, “David and Chioma came to our house to personally invite my family to their marriage ceremony. I was thrilled to meet Chioma for the first time; she is such a beautiful girl. Let love lead. Wishing Davido and Chioma a beautiful future together forever.”
Davido had announced two weeks ago that he and Chioma would be getting married on June 25 in Lagos.
