Nollywood star Uzor Arukwe recently revealed the most demanding role he’s ever tackled: playing Chidoke, an Igbo businessman, in the record-breaking film “A Tribe Called Judah.”
During a fan interaction on X platform, Arukwe responded to a question about his toughest acting experience. He explained that portraying Chidoke was particularly challenging because it required him to meticulously portray the character’s distinct Igbo dialect, specifically replacing “L” sounds with “R” sounds for authenticity.
Praising Arukwe’s performance, Funke Akindele, the film’s producer, took to social media to acknowledge his effort.”And you nailed it,” she wrote in a quote tweet, applauding his dedication and thanking him for his contribution to the movie’s success.
