Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, known simply as Doyin from the controversial Big Brother Naija reality show, has sparked conversation with her stance on women being full-time housewives.
On her podcast, “Doyin’s Corner,” Doyin expressed her reservations about wives relying solely on their husbands financially.
“One of the riskiest things you can do is get married and want to be a full housewife, completely dependent on your husband without any savings,” she cautioned.
Doyin advocated for financial independence, believing it empowers women and protects them from potential disrespect.”I don’t support that anyone should be a full housewife,” she stated. “I think it’s too risky.”
She went further, emphasizing that even if married to a very wealthy man, she wouldn’t solely focus on homemaking. “At least I will have a business,” she declared.
