A skit maker has got himself seriously injured and nearly got washed away by sea waves while making a video mocking the spirits inhabiting the sea.
In a viral video, the skit maker can be seen standing on some rocks beside the seashore while tipping the content of an alcoholic drink into the sea and chanting, “Let mammy water be high”.
He also chanted, “Gods of mammy water, do your worst.”
Within a twinkle of an eye, a strong sea wave flooded the rock and sent the man to the ground, seriously injuring him in the leg.
The skit maker could be heard saying he lost his phone after falling to the ground before quickly apologising to the marine spirits for taunting them.
