18th Executive/Legislative Parley: Hon. Adewale Temitope Adedeji Promises More Service To Lagosians

The member representing Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 01 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adewale Temitope Adedeji, OON, (JP), attended the 18th Executive/Legislative Parley at the EKO Convention Centre held 14th-16th March, 2024.

Amongst the submissions and resolutions made at the parley are to address the current and future needs of Lagosians with seamless collaboration and cooperation between the Executive and Legislative arms of Government in the State.

Facilitators and panelists discussed major issues of importance that affect the lives of Citizens which are considered as the responsibility of the Government to proffer workable solutions by annexing the statutory Space of Executive and Legislative arms of Government through proper coordination.

The participants agreed on the need for the different arms of Government to work in unison, with the special consideration for public interest above any personal interest in order to build the confidence and trust of the citizens in the government.

The Lagos State Executive Council, led by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, members of the Lagos State House of Assembly, ably led by Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, National Assembly members from Lagos State, former Governors and Deputy Governors of the State, the Governor Advisory Council (GAC) members, State party leaders and other political stakeholders were among the participants.

Hon. Adewale Temitope Adedeji, OON, who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Transportation, expressed delight that efforts in the Ministry of Transportation are already bearing fruits for the good of all Lagosians as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR was in Lagos in February to commission the Red Line from Oyingbo to Agbado, which is one of the benefits of a mutual Executive/Legislative working relationship.

He also assured that many such collaborations between the executive and legislative arms will be done for the good of Lagosians.
