Big Brother Naija alumna Natacha “Tacha” Akide has spoken out about receiving death threats from fans of singer Davido.
In a candid interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Tacha revealed the online harassment she faced after calling out Davido for liking a negative tweet about her.
“I received death threats from Davido’s fans,” she stated. “I’ve heard people say, ‘Na our 001 you wan use play? We go show you.'” (“‘Do you think you can mess with our number one? We’ll show you.'”)
This incident reportedly caused a rift between Tacha, a former die-hard Davido fan, and the singer. Notably, Tacha entered the Big Brother Naija house with a tattoo of Davido on her chest, signifying her admiration. However, last year, she revealed she had removed the tattoo for personal reasons.
