President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated former Editor of the Daily Times, Faruk Muhammed, on his 75th birthday.
A statement signed by presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale quoted President Tinubu as rejoicing with the Editor, saying he “served the country in many capacities with his versatility, experience, and gift of writing”.
The president acknowledged the noble role of the Editor at the public relations department of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) as he consistently projected the image of Nigeria on the global stage with diligence, discipline, and foresight.
“As Muhammed clocks 75, President Tinubu prays for the well-being of the renowned journalist and his family,” the statement read in part.
