Popular Nollywood actress Toke Makinwa has shifted the paradigm on relationship dynamicsby declaring that she no longer views cheating as a deal breaker.
The actress and media personality shared her evolving perspective on infidelity, emphasizing that as she matured, she came to the realization that women, like men, are prone to cheating. Toke Makinwa asserted that the primary reason some women refrain from infidelity is due to self-restraint.
Expressing her thoughts, she stated, “I think a lot of women need to reject the stigma. If I cheat, it’s okay for the man to do the same to me.”
Toke Makinwa went on to unveil her personal stance on the matter, revealing that cheating, which was once a definitive deal breaker for her, has now lost its status as such. She acknowledged the changing dynamics of her views, acknowledging that as she grew older, she recognized the prevalence of infidelity in both men and women.
“I feel like I have gotten to a place in my life where you can’t shame the shameless. If I cheat tomorrow and you want to leave I will respect you. If you want to stay, don’t use it to taunt me because I have won the crown of a cheater.“
