Kim Kardashian West is defending her hubby Kanye West against his ‘Wheel Chair’ concert incident which is already making headlines.
Reports claimed that on of Kanye’s Australian stop on his Yeezus tour, while performing at a concert in Sydney on Friday night, the hip-hop star stopped the music and tried to wheedle fans to stand up for him. He singled out a person who didn’t join the rest of the crowd to stand up, turned out the person was in a wheelchair and this spurred boos from the crowd.
“Is he in a wheelchair?”, West said to the crowd.
“There’s literally two people left,” Kanye added during the incident, as several concertgoers start booing. “There’s two people left. They don’t
want to stand up. This is the longest I’ve had to wait to do a song. It’s unbelievable.”
He then said, “Now, if he is in a wheelchair, it’s fine” and soon continues his performance.
Kim went on to post a video with a caption “What an amazing Australian tour! Its frustrating that something so awesome could be clouded by lies in the media. Kanye never asked anyone in a wheel chair to stand up & the audience videos show that. He asked for everyone to stand up & dance UNLESS they were in a wheel chair. #JustWantedEveryoneToHaveAFunNi
