Maese-Czeropski, who is a staff of Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD), has been an internet sensation since a video circulated on the internet of him having sex in the Hart Senate Office Building on Capitol Hill.
The clip depicts two men engaged in a sexual act in what Daily Caller identified as room Hart 216, a room known for hosting hearings by the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Many Americans are demanding an investigation into the incident.
The Advocate reported Friday that US Capitol Police are investigating the incident.
Reacting in a social media post, Maese-Czeropski claimed to be a victim of political mudslinging.
However, many Americans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to disagree with the Democrat Senate staffer’s claim of being discriminated against based on choice of sexual orientation.
