Tinubu inherited ‘almost comatose’ country from Buhari – Dapo Abiodun

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun

Ogun state governor, Dapo Abiodun has said that President Bola Tinubu inherited an administration that was almost comatose.

The governor spoke on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics programme.

His assertion mirrored that of National Security Adviser (NSA), AIG Nuhu Ribadu (rtd) and Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State.

While Ribadu said Tinubu inherited “literally a bankrupt country”, Soludo said the president got “a dead economy” which would require time to turn around.

Abiodun praised President Bola Tinubu for the audacious moves being made to restore the nation to the path of prosperity.

Expressing optimism that the country would experience a turnaround, Abiodun urged Nigerians to support the incumbent administration.

“The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration has been very bold and audacious.

“But knowing fully well, they either did that then or the country would be brought to its knees.

“Like they said, there can’t be any gain without pain. He has inherited an administration that was almost comatose.

“You know our President… is also an accountant.

“We are very hopeful and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel,” Abiodun said.
