Sheila, the wife of Israel Afeare, better known as Israel DMW, the Logistics Manager for singer Davido, has expressed concern for her safety and that of her family, pointing fingers at her estranged husband. The former beauty queen made alarming claims on Friday, asserting that her life and the well-being of her family members were in danger.
The controversy unfolded as Sheila responded to Israel DMW’s accusations, where he alleged that she and her family, particularly her mother, defrauded him, and accused her of leaving their marriage once she gained fame. In a series of Instagram stories, Sheila refuted these claims, stating that she and her family are not “gold diggers.”
Contrary to Israel’s accusations, Sheila emphasized that she hails from a well-to-do family and revealed her familial connections. She clarified, “My dad and former Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomole, are first cousins.”
However, the most disturbing revelation came when Sheila raised the alarm about her mother’s safety. She accused Israel DMW of invading her mother’s shop with hoodlums to harass and intimidate her mother. Sheila went on to declare, “If anything happens to me or any member of my family, @IsraelDMW should be held responsible.”
Expressing her frustration, Sheila revealed that she had refrained from making the matter public initially. She disclosed, “I was going to post this just yesterday! I held back because aside from involving the police, I reached out to someone I believe could reach him and would act on it.”
The couple, Israel DMW and Sheila, had a grand traditional wedding on Thursday, October 20, 2022, in Benin City. However, their marriage took a tumultuous turn merely eight months later, resulting in their separation. Both parties have leveled accusations of domestic violence and infidelity against each other.
