Jim Iyke Opens Up on His Regret in Seeking Healing from TB Joshua for His Mother

2 Min Read

Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke, has candidly revealed that desperation led him to seek healing for his mother from the late TB Joshua, the founder of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN). Iyke made this revelation during a recent interview with talk show host, Teju Babyface, where he expressed deep regret for his past actions.

The actor recalled a significant moment from his life back in 2013 when he was captured in a video undergoing deliverance at SCOAN. In the interview, Jim Iyke reflected on his past state of desperation and how it influenced his decisions.

I will never be desperate again in my life. Desperation was what took me there, to take my mother there, hoping that a man of God would heal her. If she were to live, twenty TB Joshuas would not stop her,” he stated, expressing the remorse he felt about the choice he made at that time.

Jim Iyke further revealed the immense emotional turmoil he went through, adding that his mother’s time had come, and no amount of seeking the help of faith healers would have changed her fate. He also mentioned that TB Joshua was not the only spiritual leader he had visited in a state of desperation.

The actor’s desperate search for a miracle led him to several religious leaders. He stated, “It was her time, nobody would have made me enter that space. He was not the only one I went to; I have been to five or six men of God. Is it because I do not want to mention names? How they drove me the money they took from me.

Jim Iyke’s mother, Esomugha, tragically passed away on April 1, 2014, while TB Joshua, the founder of SCOAN, passed away on June 5, 2021.
