Former Barcelona and Arsenal player Cesc Fabregas, who also signed with Jose Mourinho and recently pledged commitment to the Blues, is also being considered for the award.
Aston Villa striker Andreas Weimann, who has scored two goals for the Villains this season, was nominated as well as Swansea pair Gylfi
Sigurdsson and Nathan Dyer.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, Villa boss Paul Lamber, Swansea manager Garry Monk and Stoke City’s Mark Hughes were all nominated for the Manager of the month award.
