President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is reportedly on his way back to Abuja, Nigeria after a successful bilateral meeting with his United Arab Emirates (UAE) Counterpart, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The Herald earlier reported that Tinubu had a stop-over in Abu Dhabi after his five-day investment campaign on the sidelines of the G-20 Summit and participation in the G-20 Summit in New Delhi, India.

At a roundtable meeting with Indian business leaders last week, Tinubu welcomed investment pledges amounting to nearly $14bn in the pharmaceutical, power, petrochemical, and agricultural sectors.

The United Arab Emirates, on Monday, lifted its months-long visa ban on Nigerians.

Consequently, Etihad and Emirates Airlines will resume flight operations in Nigeria immediately.

“President Bola Tinubu and President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on Monday in Abu Dhabi, have finalised a historic agreement, which has resulted in the immediate cessation of the visa ban placed on Nigerian travelers.
