Loic Remy has vowed to make Liverpool regret not signing him.
The Chelsea striker was a late signing after missing out on an Anfield switch.
The player was set for a move to the Reds before an anomaly in the wall of his heart hampered his medical and Liverpool pulled out of the deal.
After a successful to Stamford Bridge, Remy is determined to prove himself with an established club.
“I did not understand Liverpool’s decision. It was not very honest from their side. I was not scared. I know exactly what I have, I met all the specialists in the world,” he told the Sun.
“A lot of players share the same situation as mine and Liverpool know it.”
Now a full-fledged Blue, Remy is ready to get down to work and push for first team minutes despite the tremendous early form of first choice Diego Costa.
“I am proud to wear the Chelsea shirt. There is a coach there able to help my progression. It’s the ideal team for me,” he added.
“I know I am not in the starting XI but nothing is fixed. When you want it, you are able to do it.”
