Popular skit maker, Abdullahi Adisa, better known as Trinity Guy, has regained freedom from prison custody.
His colleague, Abdugalfar Abiola, better known as Cute Abiola, confirmed Trinity Guy’s release from prison in a post on Friday night.
“@iamtrinityguy is finally free on Bail 💪. I am wishing you all the best brother. May Almighty Allah keep guiding you to the right path. Amen 🙏 Welcome back ! Welcome back ! My guy don pray tire 🤣 see him forehead,” Cute Abiola wrote.
In June, a Magistrate Court situated at Iyaganku, Ibadan, Oyo State capital, ordered Trinity Guy to be remanded in prison until August over an allegation of sexualising a minor in his viral skit video.
Remanded alongside the skit maker were the minor’s parents, Isiaka Ahmed, 40, and his wife, Rofiat Ahmed, 29.
The trio were arraigned in court after the Ibadan-based Adisa reported at the Oyo State Police Command following an invitation extended to him over the controversial video.
