The Twitter community is currently in uproar over whether or not skitmaker, Shank, is funny. Shank, a graduate of electrical and electronics engineering, gained popularity on Twitter with his ‘hilarious’ skits, especially those featuring the character of Evangelist A.A Alao.
Despite his rise to fame, Nigerians criticized Shank’s craft, branding him as not funny. This led to the media personality stopping his content postings on Twitter. Shank now posts his skits on Instagram, where he continues to be a subject of intense debate about whether he is truly funny or not.
Many of Shank’s skits are funny, while some are offensive, often featuring sexual and derogatory societal norms. Some Nigerians believe that Shank is funny and that those who disagree are “not in their right sense of mind.” However, others believe that he is not funny and have called for his skits to be banned.
To get a better understanding of the debate, check out some of Shank’s skits and read Nigerian comments on his craft.
We have to really question the sense of humour of those that think Shank is funny. But I have come to realize on this platform that once some popular influencers like you, they will always push your craft, be it mediocre or not. That guy should be banned from making skits.

I’ll keep saying this, there’s something fundamentally wrong with you and your sense of humour if you dont fine Shank remotely funny

I think people are being too hard on Shank.
He's not a bad comedian, content creation isn't easy. If his jokes aren't big enough for your problems then watch more sophisticated comedians. Bro is just trying to earn a living.
