Ronaldinho signs two-year deal with Queretaro

Weeks after Brazilian super star Ronaldinho terminated his contract with Atletico Mineiro, the football legend has agreed a two-year deal with Mexican side Queretaro.

The deal was announced on  the club’s official website.

Club owner Olegario Vazquez Aldir  also confirmed the news on Twitter in a tweet translated “It pleases me to share the news that from today, @10ronaldinho is a Queretaro player. #YoSoyGallo.”

The 34-year-old extended his contract with the Galo in January after scoring 27 goals in the previous seasons with the Brasileirao club.

He went on to Twitter to express his delight on the new deal.

“I chose Mexico because of the affection that I’ve always received here. Very motivated to represent Club Queretaro,” he wrote.

The Two time  FIFA World player had successful career with gaint Football clubs such as AC Milan, Barcelona and PSG.  He is expected to debut in Querétaro’s next match on Friday, September 12.
