Conservative commentator, Matt Walsh took apart a trans activist’s claim of sex binary as amateurish “high school-level biology”, insisting that the sex as a spectrum argument is not factual.
Walsh, a Daily Wire columnist, shared on Twitter a video of his encounter with the trans activist during a Q&A session at a Young America’s Foundation (YAF) event.
As shown in the video, the trans activist started the exchange with the age-old question: “How would you define a woman?”
Responding, Walsh said, “An adult human female.”
The activist followed up with another question, “How doesn’t a transgender woman fit that definition?” to which the Matt Walsh Podcast host replied, “Because they’re not female.”
After seconds of back and forth, the activist raised the issue of intersex conditions, dismissing the sex binary as amateurish “high school-level biology,” and insisting that sex is now universally regarded as a “spectrum” by expert researchers.
Disagreeing, Walsh asked the EMT what she would do if, while responding to a medical emergency, the biological-male victim told her “I think I’m having a miscarriage”.
“Would you consider that a possibility?” he asked.
The befuddled trans activist hesitated, drawing scornful laughter from the audience, but eventually replied, “No”.
Walsh said it has therefore been established that some people can get pregnant while others cannot, explaining that intersex conditions are a small exception that does not negate the rule of sex is binary.
The activist said, “Lots of women can’t get pregnant either.”
Agreeing, Walsh said “but they are still of the nature to get pregnant”.

A trans EMT tried to use his medical training to prove that sex is not binary. He ran into trouble when I asked him how he’d respond to a patient with a penis who claims he’s having a miscarriage.
