The Lagos State Government has said that 32 survivors of Thursday’s collision between a train and state government staff bus in the PWD, Ikeja area of Lagos have been discharged.
Commissioner of Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi disclosed this in a press briefing held at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) on Friday.
According to him, 19 victims were discharged from LASUTH, five from the State Accident and Emergency Centre at Old Toll Gate, and eight from Orile-Agege General Hospital.
He stated that the number of fatalities remained six.
Abayomi further disclosed that voluntary donors gave 256 units of blood, adding that 40 units have been transferred to the victims today.
