Popular pro-Biafra separatist agitator, Simon Ekpa has been released by police in Finland.
The Herald had reported that authorities in Finland picked up the 35-year-old from his apartment in the city of Lahti on Thursday.
A photo of Ekpa, the self-acclaimed disciple of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), being led out of his apartment trended on social media.
He was billed to grant an interview before his arrest, Finland-based newspaper, Helsingin Sanomat (HS), reported.
The newspaper reported hours later that the pro-Biafra agitator has been released.

According to the report, Ekpa was released after hours of questioning.
Ekpa has repeatedly ordered the people of the South-East to observe a sit-at-home and boycott the general election billed for Saturday, February 25 and Saturday, March 11.
The Ebonyi indigene’s pro-Biafra rhetoric is believed to be fuelling killings in the South-East.
