A soon-to-be released feature film titled Water and Garri will herald Nigerian superstar Tiwa Savage’s film debut.
This information was disclosed by Tiwa Savage in a post on her Instagram page on February 15.

Her 2021 extended playlist served as the inspiration for the film’s title, Water and Garri.
She also said that Meji Alabi, a video director, and her collaborated on the film’s direction.
Tiwa Savage wrote in relation to images from the upcoming film’s set:
