Peter Okoye of PSquare has said that the two leading political parties in Nigeria – All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) – have shifted their focus from campaigning for the 2023 general election.
He said that the parties and other members of the political elite have instead shifted to focusing on how to stop the presidential ambition of Labour Party (LP) flagbearer, Peter Obi.
Peter Okoye, who is a known supporter of Obi, said that supporters of the LP candidate should be proud of themselves for giving the opposition sleepless nights.
“So there are 18 presidential candidates running for 2023 general election.
“The whole elite and political class aspiration is to stop @PeterObi. PDP and APC have virtually stopped campaigning.
“The focus right now is Obi. If u are OBldient, this should make you happy,” he said.
