The Official Spokesperson of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo SAN has been slammed on Twitter for defending the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s apparent slurred speech during a recent event.
Speaking during a Town Hall meeting with the private sector in Owerri, Imo State on Thursday, the APC flagbearer uttered some incoherent words that many social media users said could be a symptom of dysarthria.

According to Mayo Clinic, dysarthria is a condition that causes slurred or slow speech that can be difficult to understand and is often caused by nervous system disorders and conditions that cause facial paralysis or tongue or throat muscle weakness.
Defending his principal, Keyamo tweeted that Tinubu was only displaying a sense of humour.
“Listen to the sense of humour of @officialABAT. He says he prefers a proper town hall meeting to the gibberish his opponents say elsewhere.
“He practically demonstrates the gibberish they say by uttering those tongue-twisting words to show the nonsense his opponents say elsewhere,” Keyamo wrote.

However, many Twitter users were apparently not convinced by Keyamo’s explanation, accusing him of gaslighting the public on the matter.
Festus Keyamo is Feste in Twelfth Night. Only a clown understands – cassava, garri, ewa yeeeh. Turn rotten tomato into a bad one, & Bulaba. But I’m glad the comedy was produced by TVC, owned by Tinubu. They would have claimed it was doctored. Keyamo will market Satan to you. 🥶🥶 https://t.co/msdtONtE1y

“The moral of the Boy Who Cried Wolf was not that the town was wrong to ignore the boy when he was eaten by the wolf. It was that you should value your credibility for when you need it rather than squandering it.”
Mr Festus, write that quote down somewhere. https://t.co/nDJ5LqbgCq

There's no low that Festus Keyamo can't go. You can work for politicians without going this low.
You rubbish a life you've built for over 30 years because of 9 months of campaign. So terrible.

Festus Keyamo perhaps I should invite you to a Christ Embassy church, maybe you could help interpret speaking in tongues as well.
Imagine how you rubbish the position of a SAN.
If I say you’re an embarrassment, that’s an understatement!
