A journalist, Jackson Ude, has said that a lady named Tutu who plunged into the Lagos Lagoon after a heated argument with her boyfriend was an operative of the Department of State Services (DSS).
Ude said this in a tweet on Thursday evening.
The journalist noted that the incident occurred four months after the victim got a commendation from the Director General of the DSS,
“This beautiful lady named Tutu, a staff of the Department of State Services, DSS, jumped into the Lagos Lagoon after a heated argument with her boyfriend.
“Only four months ago, Tutu got commendation from the DG, DSS, as the best unarmed combat operative in her set,” Ude wrote.

Tutu Adedokun, it was learnt, disembarked from a cab, headed towards the railing of the Third Mainland Bridge and plunged into the lagoon beneath.
Permanent Secretary, of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, said in a situation report that the cab driver claimed the woman was having a heated conversation with her fiance before alighting from the vehicle.
The incident was said to have occurred few weeks after Tutu’s boyfriend proposed to her.
