BBNaija Level Up housemate, Hermes Chibueze Iyele better known as Hermes is the butt of social media jokes after misspelling the name of late Black Panther star, Chadwick Boseman.
Boseman, who died August 28, 2020, of colon cancer, starred as T’Challa / Black Panther in the 2018 Marvel Studios’ film, Black Panther.
Some cast and crew members of the 2022 sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever were in Lagos ahead of the first-ever Marvel Studios’ premiere on November 6.
Some Nigerian celebrities also graced the premiere in colourful Wakanda-themed outfits.
Hermes’ outfit to the event had a cape through which he tried to pay tribute to Boseman.
However, the cape attracted numerous reactions after it was found that the reality star misspelled Boseman’s name.
“RIP Chad Boswick,” read the inscription on the cape.
