The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that Davido’s three-year-old son, Ifeanyi, died by drowning.
The command’s spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said this while revealing details of an autopsy conducted on the body, The Punch reports.
“Autopsy has been concluded. It confirms the boy (Ifeanyi) drowned,” was quoted as saying.
The Herald earlier reported that Ifeanyi’s death on Monday has generated an outpouring of emotions from fans of Davido in Nigeria and abroad.
This newspaper also reported that eight domestic staff of Davido were initially taken into custody by the command over the incident.
It was learnt that six of them were released to go home.
However, the nanny and the cook remain in custody.
