Atiku hails 2 Nigerians appointed ministers in Canada

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar,  has congratulated two Nigerians, Dr Akolisa Ufodike and Kaycee Madu, on their appointments into the government of the province of Alberta, Canada.

The new Premier of Alberta, Danielle Smith, announced the appointments on Monday.

Atiku hailed the new appointees in a statement on Thursday.

While Dr Ufodike was appointed Deputy Minister at Alberta’s Ministry of Trade, Immigration and Multiculturalism, Madu was Deputy Premier and Minister of Skilled Trades and Professions.

“Dr. Akolisa Ufodike has been a friend for many years. My sincere congratulations, Dr Ufodike, on your appointment as the Deputy Minister at Alberta’s Ministry of Trade, Immigration and Multiculturalism. Well earned!

“My congratulations also to another Nigerian, Kaycee Madu, on his appointment as Deputy Premier and Minister of Skilled Trades and Professions,” Atiku said.
