The 9th edition of popular reality T.V show Big Brother Africa, scheduled to launch this weekend was postponed after the BBA Hotshots house in Sasani Studios, South Africa, was recently engulfed by fire.
Luckily there were no causalities.
The organisers are on the lookout for another location to shoot the much-anticipated show but confirmed it’s indefinite postponement via their website.
“M-Net and Endemol SA advise that due to a devastating fire at the Big Brother house on 2 September 2014, Big Brother Hotshots will not launch this Sunday (7 September) as scheduled.”
“The cause of the fire, at this stage, is unknown and investigations will commence as soon as it is safe to do so,” the announcement read.
