The Convener, Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju has advised former President Goodluck Jonathan to be wary of associating with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Adeyanju said this after it emerged that Jonathan held a meeting with an APC team led by its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in Abuja on Tuesday night.
Tinubu’s entourage included his running mate, Senator Kashim Shetimma, Governor of Plateau State and Director-General of APC Presidential Campaign Council, Simon Lalong; Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun; Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawale; Jigawa State Governor, Abubakar Badaru and Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
Details of the meeting remain unknown although there are speculations that it was in furtherance of the APC team’s consultation with major stakeholders ahead of the February 25, 2023 presidential election.
In a Wednesday tweet, Adeyanju reminded Jonathan how he was allegedly used and dumped by the APC cabal during the party’s presidential primaries.

“Dear Goodluck Jonathan, you won’t die if you don’t support anyone in this election.
“During the APC primaries when the cabal were deceiving you, hope you remember all my warnings to you that they just wanted to use and dump you.
“A word is enough for the wise,” the lawyer wrote.
