Barcelona striker, Robert Lewandowski says dreams do come true and everyone must remember to never stop dreaming.
The FIFA World Best Player said this in a Facebook post to mark his 34th birthday on Sunday.
The Polish star rues not being able to celebrate the special day with his family back home but took solace in being able to do what he loves – play football.
He encouraged everyone to dream, work hard and not give up as “dreams do come true”.
Sharing a photo of his beautiful family, Lewandowski wrote, “Today isn’t just match day, it’s also my birthday. Thank you for all your wishes.
“I am not able to be with my family today, but I will spend this day doing what I love, playing football.
“I am very grateful for everything. Remember to never stop dreaming, work hard and don’t give up. Dreams do come true.”
Lewandowski is expected to feature in Barcelona’s second La Liga game away to Real Sociedad on Sunday night.
